Words are expressions and these just invoke so much humanity within the students when we are reading this book. The children love to read this book because they feel each word is pertaining to them. I read this to my Ss every year on the last day of school & remind them that while people might try to judge them, they are special! The Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne I sing it to them every year and they love it. It came with a record with story told in song.
